Yesterday an emergency Town Meeting was called:
The Town Commission met to discuss the troublesome issues surrounding the feasibility of allowing the energizer bunny to continue his itinerant merchant license.
Our codes state the following:
A license granted under this chapter may be revoked for any of the following reasons:
(3) Any violation of this chapter:
(4) Conviction of the licensee of any felony, or conviction of the licensee of any misdemeanor involving moral turpitude; or
(5) Conduction of the business licensed in an unlawful manner or in such a way as to constitute a menace to the health, safety, morals or general welfare of the public.
The Commission vote (3/2 (as usual) agreed that based on the FACT that the errant Bunny had been arrested by Beach Police Last Friday and charged with multiple batteries after a resident complained about the noise his drum was making, that....
1. Energizer Bunny's license MUST be revoked immediately as per our codes
He will be
2. Permanently banned from beating his drum on Beach soil.
He will not receive benefits
3. Denied a lithium subsidy
The residents are hopping and ask???????
How can this happen everyone loves that bunny. He energized us with his up beat nature.
The citizens of this Town are aghast at the severity of the punishment and plan to organize a benefit and rally to SAVE THE BUNNY!!!
